Thank you!!! I have really been working hard with him! When I got him I knew it was going to be a lot of work since he has structure problems but I have learned to "show that out of him". I will let you know how I do at the show come Feb.  ;D

I'm putting 4 1/2 parts barley and 4 parts steam rolled corn to his 12 lbs of feed bi-daily. I'm increasing my barley and corn by 1/2 a part every week. Plus I am feeding SureChamp vitaferm along with all that.

yeah i think it is cause most of the animals we get dont even look like show animals. its easier with lambs and goats cause you can put them on a treadmill but with a steer or hog its pretty much what you get, how you feed and how feed it. last year i won grand with my lamb and had 2nd pick out...

i only leave his halter on when he is out to pasture. he is pretty square and has a really nice hip but pictures rarely do these animals justice unless they are posed.

My dad wrote what the breeder said he was as "key/simmi" and I've only delt with hereford, brangus, angus and beefmaster. So I had no clue what in the world kinda breed that was. So excuse the incorrect...
