SHOW YOUR SWOW STEERS ,CATTLE, BULLS ETC.

I do believe you mean The Headliner. Highliner is a son of The Headliner, not a full sib.

    club calf bulls x charolais

Im a huge fan of the warrantXchar mating myself. He will make them nice fronted and attractive. The temperment is awesome on these calves, they seem to be the most friendly from the beginning. Im breeding about 30 cows to warrant this spring. Also you might want to look at monopoly if your cows...

    2011 Ugly Calf Contest

We havent started calving yet but I feel we will have a calf that will deserve to be pictured here, I bred a spotted simmy cow to Golden Child. She had a really colored up calf last year out of Waznt Me last year. By the way this is one of the posts I look forward to every year, simply because...

    Smiling Bob

Sad truth is that he isnt owned by the right people to make him the next monopoly.

    Texas Twister and Thriller

I hate to be that guy but having seen texas twister I certainly wouldnt want to use him. To me he was one of the most structually comprimised bulls in denver, second to holy smoke. Yes he was stout but straight off both ends and had major trimming done on his feet just to allow him to get around...

    some people......

Little heifer, I congratulate you on your aspirations to become a breeder and to sell quality stock! I also have a tidbit of info, make sure when people do come to buy from you that the calves are paid for before they leave your possesion. I just got back from a well known breeders place trying...

    Duhrams for Denver

Well thats great, I find it a little hard to believe but more power to you and the bull.  My point was was that as yearlings these bulls are quite capable of covering cattle.  But that went well over your head like alot of things do! would you like to see the calving record, or his calves? ...

    Walks Alone full sib?

I certainly admit he was a really cool calf but i think you would go away hungry from that oyster feed. Not much for nuts...

    MiraFount water freezing

We installed a two place MiraFount 8 years ago. We have a 6 foot 18 inch ID stand pipe that is insulated with 3/4 inch Mylar coated insulation. We havent needed a heat tape or a lightbulb in it yet and have yet to have it freeze up. In fact we took one of the balls out the first fall we used it...

Somewhere there are English teachers tossing and turning in their graves.

    Decisions

I would say keep away from Momentum, if you are using him on smaller framed cattle i think he would be just too small. Not only is he smaller framed  but his sire has been known for framing cattle down quite a bit.

    Peeling back neck hair

I agree, patience and practice. Work slowly and evenly. Practice is the best resource you can have (well money doesnt hurt either) <cowboy>

Does anyone know what Red Angus Sire would be best for AI

I really like my Mission Statement calves. I think he offers some versatility in a number of breeding situations. What kind of cows are you breeding?

is pale face a good bull?

Isnt that the best way to pick clubby bulls? Its a shotgun chance anyway isnt it? LOL (clapping)

2010 Agribition Champion by Jakes proud Jazz

Now I would really like to see Lot 6, the way I remember it they were a great pair. He looks good Rollie. <cowboy>

    Genex Angus bulls

Been a while since I have heard someone talk about withers on a beef unit. Regardless, these bulls may not look like your usual clubby bulls you may be inclined to look at. We all know that mature bulls look a different in their working clothes and these bulls are truly different. Chad Ellingson...

    Heatwave Females?

I realize this is taking the thread a different turn but has anyone ever bred a dairy cow to heatwave? I have heard the expression that HW can take the milk right out of a holstein.  (lol)

    Buckcherry Heifer

I would recommend In Dew Time. He should level out her hip a tick and put a more set in her hind leg, while making her smoother shouldered.  <cowboy>

    " Bloom For Show Steers"

At 600 lbs your steer should be consuming about 15lbs of feed daily plus the freechoice hay he is receiving. I hope you are feeding an ionophor like bovatech or rumensin, it might be in the feed already. I would add that for sure, this basically makes sure the calf runs on all 8 cylinders (or 4...
