    hair suppliment on heifer

We shown steers for the past 20 yrs and always kept our heifers out of the show circuit, because of the condition factor and breeding problems with show heifer females.  This year we have the best female we ever raised and everyone that walked through the calves this year wanted this heifer, so...

    Clubby bull for angus cows

Ok personally I would love to see Sunseeker used.  He tends to work really really well on plainer moderate to smaller framed cows.  Now if you want to raise them Maine/Ang heifers I would use Irish Wiskey or Paddy.  As for Monopoly, I think on angus cows it would not be a good choice.  Monopoly...

There is only a $1000 dollar bid on the Leroy Brown and Sunseeker steers and only a $900 dollar bid on the Dirty Harry.  Bids close on Sept. 11th don't miss the opportunity to own these three steers.  If you want a steer that can compete at any level for a very resonable price, this is the place...

My turn, Smooth sailing, and Leroy Brown

I am just wondering what kind of cows work on these bulls.  I hate throwing semen away on test tries. I would love to use smilin bob, but I told myself years ago that I am not going to use first year bulls.  Please let me know what everones experiences are with these bulls.  thank you

Calving Ease for Dirty Hairy and Rocky Balboa

I'm in favor of the total solution idea!  Thats all I use.  In the pasted few years I calved around 70-80 heifers AI'ed to total solution.  There is little to no problems.  The only one I had to pull was the past show heifer.  She had quite a bit of condition on her and after 20 minutes of...

    Thriller

Total solution is the way to go.  We use total solution on everything except habanero and who's because of his pedigree.  For these cows we like to use JPJ.  Jakes Proud Jazz is another classic calving ease sire.  Haven't had anything bigger than 75 pounds.

sun seeker and jimmy the greek

Sunseekers are usually 90-100 pounders.  With my herd I breed him to the moderate and smaller framed cows.  I've probably went through 75 straws of sunseeker through the past and I can tell you that he will not downsize a larger framed cow.  They will be monster boned\fuzzy babies.

sun seeker and jimmy the greek

Sun seeker in my opinion is a pretty good bull.  I breed more sunseeker then any other bull, because I started using him and every year I can't complain about any of the calves.  He is a bigger birth weight bull, but I can't remember a calve out of him in the last 3 years that we pulled.  They...

    dirty harry calves

Womanizer and Power Trip Any 2010 babies yet

Power trip are monsters.  Uncle had three and there all around 100-120 lbs, but have been all unassisted

    doctor who

There is only one clubby bull that I would use on heifers.  Without a doubt total solution is the only clubby that consistently throws 60-70 pound calves.  Yes he's not going to work on them smaller framed heifers, but some of the growthier type heifers he will work perfectly.
