Im in south dakota and its below zero right now. I was just wonder when everyone thinks it is too cold to wash or when it will maybe hurt the calves.  I have a warm place to wash and will dry them very good when i do wash.

I just run a nipco heater.  Ive got it in the part where my blocking chute is and where my coler is...the rest isnt heated

Im in south dakota...winters can get harsh.  I want to get him ready for the farm show.  Ive got a heated area to work on him in but not a heated wash rack. 

Any one have tips for keeping hair great through the winter show season? Any tips welcome

He is cleaning that 9 pounds up great...his last show will be state fair at the end of august...

I have a shorthorn steer weighing 490 and am feeding 18 a day...hes cleaning that up good. Im feeding a kent show feed finisher...think i should stay on that or should i switch to a grower? and should i be increasing weekly since he is a little light? anything suggestions welcome thanks
