Im in south dakota and its below zero right now. I was just wonder when everyone thinks it is too cold to wash or when it will maybe hurt the calves.  I have a warm place to wash and will dry them very good when i do wash.

As long as there is water coming out of the hose we rinse.  You might need a bullet heater behind them to help dry them in a timely manner which is a must when it is very cold.

As long as the water is coming out of the hose--go for it. Just dry and warm them afterward. You will be colder then the cattle will be.... LOL

We wash when its below freezing still, we hook up the hose to a sink and turn on the hot water in the barn, its a pain, but it gets the job done :) good luck!!

I wouldn't do anything they calves arn't used too. But they should be alright if you dry them good. Sometimes the calves will sweat so you reallly got to dry good...It takes a little more time.
