He hasnt been on any creep feed yet. That could be the reason why he is not filled out in the flank.

He is out of a Vegas son bull and windstar granddaughter cow.

Everytime I tried to sneak up on him to get a rear shot he would turn and look at me or take off with the other calves.

I went with a friend yesterday to meet a man who raised camels. He has all sorts of other animals, but he showed us this calf in his field. It has to sets of hooves on its back legs. So it has a total of 6 hooves.

I havent heard of the grant, but I know here in Oklahoma you can get a youth loan. I have gotten 3 so far to purchase cattle and to use for operating costs. They are low interest rates with yearly payments. I got mine from our extension office, but farm credit also has them (i think).
