    What's the weirdest thing you've heard a judge say?

    I have a couple from this years country fair.  My favorite came out of the lightweight steer class... "this steer coming in last has a lot of fixing up to do, but its an eye game folks, that showman is three times his size and makes that steer look like a puppy" :)

    When should they be born

    Our fair is the same time as yours. We have them finished perfectly for the  fair if they are born April-May. They normally make the light-end of the heavy weight class. When is your state fair? Do you want your steer finished for state or county?? Is july 15 your state or county fair?
