I just had Jesse James and SAV Brilliance calves born out of first calf heifers. Both weighed about 70 pounds and came unassisted and looking good! Good structure, good attitude, and awesome growth rates. Very pleased and probably going to use the rest of my Jesse James semen on more heifers...

Thanks for the feedback. This bodacious calf is rackin my brain. She is definitely marked like a shorthorn but breeder said the cow doesn't have enough % shorthorn to register her as a shorthorn plus. Think that one is a loss cause. Nothing wrong with a goo commercial calf just can't earn points...
