    breeding a limousin heifer

    Breed her to a Angus bull. You love the results. I have had good luck with SAV genetics on my Limi cattle, they will put some guts in them. I have seen some half blood Limi calves out of club calf bulls that turn out really good, and some that are god awful bad, depends on what your heifer is like.

    For a Limi bull check out Rulon, hes not like most of the Limis out there. His offspring are more stylish, square, bigger boned, and have been at the top of the classes in the Limi breed the last year.

    Do you have a favorite breed?

    I got mostly limis. Most people give them a bad wrap cause they think of the old school looking ones with bad tempers. We have had a nasty one every now and then but not like everyone says they are. Cross them with angus (Lim-Flex) and you get a one heck of a cow.
