    NEED SOME ADVICE

    I just had to sell my steer because of the same problem. With mine you would have never know he was not cut correctly except when you were in his pen he would charge. He just got worse... My vet wouldn't cut him because it was too close to my fair.

    SO.... I sold the "steer". The man I bought him from bought him back. He is a wonderfull man and felt horrible about the situation. It kinda sucked being my first steer, and the last year I can do a project!!!

    He has not been out with my horses because of the heat issue we are having, but i took him to a show on the 15th and he really was find around all the other animals.     hes being fed around 20-25lbs of a show ration plus grass hay. there is about 65 days till fair, and i couldnt agree more. im not too sure why they stop there but it sucks!

    How is your county show set up.

    Our fair is pretty large, we hold the county fair at our state fair grounds. We have a different building for each species of animal, and each one has its own washing area. There is two show rings so each of the animals are spread out through the week. We have tons of rides, stands, and what not...

    Snake Oil

    My hog last year was reserve champion at our county fair. She was raised on moormans feed, a mineral supplement, and some beet pulp towards the end. I don't think all the other stuff in necessary.
