    Breeding suggestions

I've been out of the club calf loop for a while, so I need some calving ease suggestions for a couple heifers we have. Both were held off last year from being bred because of their size. We're going to go for it this year, but need some good calving ease bulls. First picture is an I-80. Super...

    Clipping a heifer. Need tips.

We've got a heifer we are about to show in an open show at our county fair as a yearling heifer. I've always had steers and can clip them decently, I was mostly curious before I jump into this, with her being a thick heifer is there anything I should avoid to keep her feminine? The judge for the...

In need of three feeder calves

We're currently in need of three feeder calves, preferably heifers after a misunderstanding with the person we ususally buy off of. Decently priced, we don't want to do anything outrageous. Southern Ohio.

    NC pop addiction

Powerade helped me. Its only like 88¢ a bottle here, so I would buy a bunch of it, then weaned myself off of regular to the zero, then straight water.

    Other uses for grooming products!

I was flipping through some old pictures and found. This one. It was my senior year for spirit week "Blast From the Past" day. My mom (queen of big hair) styled my hair. Of course, we had no hairspray. So we used Prime Time adhesive and some Hocus Pocus to remove it. I later put the picture of...

Funniest or Embarrassing Moments? Post them here!

My first year with a market steer. The judge puts me in second place in my class, and as we were doing that final walk where the judge explains Why he placed who where. He gets to me and says "this steer has it all, and is nice and finished, he just needs more hair" Of course, the show arena is...

You never know what you'd find....

Rackranch- calling them would be a terrible idea. They took over the entire roadways, even ones they weren't supposed to be on. Trevorgrey- Be lucky you didn't have the heard like we did. But I've lived here my whole life and just now came upon it. I figured you Shorthorn people would like it.

You never know what you'd find....

Just around the road. After fighting with the GOBA (Great Ohio Biking Adventure) bicycle people, I came across this right down the road a ways from my house. And I never knew it was there.

Is this the thickest Shorthorn heifer you've seen?

Those were my thoughts too. Prime example of why you don't breed a pig to a cow. Haha
