    Extra Leather/ sweat question

    When should we start putting a sweat on a calf that has "extra" leather?  We are planning on showing him in Jan. at the prospect show in Denver and a few in between Denver and county fair. What is the best sweat to get, ie) which one works the best. Thanks for your help.

    I hate that drop down on another calf if the one you bid on gets out of your price range.  Just hate it!!  But I understand why it happens.  We try to stay away from the sales that do that.
