I have an eight year old cow who two days ago started to have her calf. Tonight she is still pushing and having contractions like she is still in labor. We just palpated her and can not feel a calf inside of her. Her bag is completely full of milk and tight. She has had five calves prior to this...

Our first Indian Outlaw calf was born a couple hours ago out of one of our maine x show heifers. The bull calf was about 85 pounds. These pics are right after he was born, I'll post updated ones later.

Is it better to breed to a bull the is a TH carrier ? Or breed to a bull that is a PHA carrier? I know it would be ideal to breed to one that is free of both (TH/PHA). I was just curious. Thanks

November 2009  maine X heifer out of HardCore and a Calberta Hustler cow. We are located in Central Florida. Asking $1100 Her dam was the 2008 Supreme Grand Champion at the Florida State Fair, Florida Strawberry Festival, Florida Citrus Festival, and  4-H & FFA Beef Classic.
