2010 CALF CROP UPDATE!!!

THIS IS THE CALF OUT OF A CHILL FACTOR SON AND OUR JACK FROST COW. HE IS THREE WEEKS OLD IN THESE PICS AND I THINK HE IS LOOKING IMPRESSIVE.

THIS IS A PROUD LITTLE HEIFER THAT IS OUT OF A HUDGINS BRAHMAN COW AND SIRED BY WHITE EYE. SHE IS ONLY A WEEK AND A HALF OLD IN THESE PICS.

THIS CALF IS GOING TO BE A STUD. HE IS OUT OF MY TOP BRANGUS COW AND THE CHAROLAIS BULL FIREWATER. HE IS ONLY A WEEK AND HALF OLD IN THE PICS.

how big was the firewater calf at birth?  His bw epd scares me for my purebreds but I like him for big framed commercial cows.  I'm waitin on 2 out of my best gerts in about a month

All I have heard is that his calves come small, and this one did just that. But he did not waste anytime growing, he has shot up like a weed.

We had very few problems calving Firewater out this fall.  For the most part his calves came easy and unassisted.  The only assist was a calf that had both legs back.  These were out of PB Charolais cows.  I would not use him on heifers.
