1 & 2. Stout Monopoly steer out of an Angus cow born Feb. 23rd
3.  Free 4 All bull calf born on Easter, he's purebred shorthorn (well 15/16 to be exact ;))

On the first post, all the calves were born at the end of February except the JPJ heifer came on March 25th.

Pick 'em apart all you want.

Nice calves.  You should be proud.  I really like the sunseeker red heifer.  The stocking steer cool too.

Any other opinions? We have 10 more calves out of clubby bulls. A Who Made Who  heifer, Bojo steer, a Rainmaker and Milkman heifer, etc. Also have another Monopoly coming in a few days. They will be on pasture this summer available for viewing near Salina, KS on creep.

I have nothing negitive to say about any of them. I really like the look of both your Monopoly and Point Taken steers, I think both will end up as really nice fat steers. Good luck!

Hi,
I like your calves, especially the stocking steer. How do you like the Rainmaker and Bojo calves? Birthweight? Which is your favorite bull?

The Rainmaker heifer is nicely balanced, probably the biggest framed calf we have and really clean made. Unassisted 70 lbs.
The Bojo steer is super thick and hairy and has a great disposition. He's a little straight up front but should be alright. Pulled him - 8 days late and around 100 lbs

I would say Monopoly is my favorite bull, but you need to use him on bigger framed cows. I also like the Point Taken calves.
