I think I've got one bull calf and four heifer calves. General impression is the calves are real pretty, but not real stout at birth. We'll see how they grow out.
Troubador heifer calf out of a former show heifer. Her calf last year was out of George and sold as a show calf.
Another Troubador heifer calf out of a Smithbilt grandaughter that has raised some real good calves for me in the past.
Cottonmouth
I bred him to two black baldy cows: one a Buzz daughter (Full Form) and the other a Cunia grandaughter (Daddy was a Cuina x Foreplay's dam, momma was a straight Simi-Angus cow). Only had two calves, and one of them (out of the Buzz daughter) died for some freak reason. Momma had him fine, but found him dead - a super stout red baldy bull calf. Late yesterday, my baldy Cunia grandaughter calves and had a black baldy heifer calf that looks as good as one can at a few hours old. Up and chasing momma around the pasture. Almost certainly one of the best heifer calves I've ever had unless she tanks.
I'll be breeding about 20 to him this fall. I'd bet a lot of money he turns out to be the real deal and not just for Heferord looking calves.
Walks Alone
Only used him on one cow - a real good Meyer grandaughter that has raised show steers for me before. Got a solid red bull calf. He will be in contention for one of my best steers this year. We'll see.
Monopoly
I used him heavily. 9/13 on conception so far, albeit I used him on cows that showed real good heats. Not disappointed at all. The white cow in my avatar has a jet black Monopoly heifer calf that will likely be real good. No calving problems whatsoever, and unlike his daddy, his calves have plenty of get up and go at birth. Got a real nice looking red bull calf out of him.
Eyes on the Money
I've got three calves - two heifers for sure and I haven't seen the other one personally yet. Both heifers are as cool as all get out. If they stay sound and get big enough, they will be nice. But they are noticably shorter made than calves from any other sire I used. Photos of two different heifers.

If I'm a little disappointed with any sire I used, its him. But still too early to tell. No calving problems at all, calves just don't really stand out yet.
A week later after first making this post - calves seem to be looking much better.
About Time
I know nobody fools with him much anymore, but he flat out works on females closely related to Cunia. The best looking solid black heifer in the pasture is out of him.

Only one calf so far, should have some more any time. If I don't (running out of time), conception was pretty low.
Heifer Calving
Calving out heifers has gone good so far. And believe it or not, I calved out two Heat Wave heifers completely unassisted. And they look to be milking very well. Almost all of our heifers were bred to our GCC Anchor 678S bull we bought from Griswold.

Heifers in the pen closest to the road are closest to calving, ones in the big pen to the left are a few weeks away, ones in the back small pen have calves in the last couple of days (including No. 44 who is a Heatwave), and ones out on grass calved since the first of the month.
