Out walking the pasture and just happened to have the camera with me and some of the little one's wanted attention.

CALVES are DREAM ON Grandson's and Granddaughter.
-The Baldy in the first pic is 1/2 Black Simmental, 1/8 Foundation Simmental, 1/8 Black Angus, 1/8 Chianina, and an 1/8 Holstein.
-The 2nd pic is a 3/4 Black Simmental, 1/8 Red Gelbvieh, 1/16 Foundation Simmental, and a 1/16 Polled Hereford.
-The 3rd pic is a 1/2 Black Simmental, 1/4 Red Gelbvieh, 1/8 Foundation Simmental, and a 1/8 Polled Hereford.
-The Gray Heifer in pic 4 is 1/2 Black Simmental, 1/4 Red Gelbvieh, 1/8 Foundation Simmental, and a 1/8 Polled Hereford.
Our Goal is to move to a purebred or at least a 3/4 Simmental Herd. But good cows who full fill their contract with us are staying put. We're sticking to Simmental Bulls or at least SimAngus and we've purchased some Reg. Simmental females the last several years. We're also beginning to AI some more. Therefore maybe we'll get to that full Simmental - SimAngus Herd one day.
I'll post a few of my Purebred Simmental calves and some of our black calves later.

Here are two black ones:
-The First one is a 3/4 Black Simmental, with Black Angus, Holstein, and Red Poll making up the last quarter.
- The 2nd one is also a 3/4 Black Simmental, with an 1/8 Red Gelbvieh, and the rest of it being Black Angus, Holstein, and Red Poll.
Our Calf crop is doing pretty good this year, we've had mostly bull calves, kind of weird but they will sell better so that's alright. Next up is vaccinating them soon and then watching them grow hopefully. Wishing everyone good luck, God's blessings, and a good calf crop.
Will make a new thread with a few purebred simmentals.
