Abbreviations---help me please!!!

I've been having trouble understanding some of your posts.  I'm old and I don't always understand the abbreviations used on this site.  OMG, I feel so embarassed!!
I think its time for an Abbreviation dictionary!!  For example I could get in trouble with some of the more sensitive souls on this site if I used terms like:

NIMROD(No Intelligent Matter Readily Observed--DUH) or DWEEB (Did We Ever Expect Better) usually used to express disdain for a NIMROD.  From the reactions I've recieved from some of my emails, I don't think all my friends understand these abbreviations like they should.

Also, a couple of abbreviations have been used to describe my home state that are totally erroneous--IOWA does not mean (I Owe the World an Apology) or Idiots Out Wandering Around"--It does mean (Intelligent, Outstanding, Wonderful, and Amazing people).  Some people may use "Aroused" instead of "Amazing" but this is a site for all ages and it should not be used that way here!!

I'm sure you all have your favorite abbreviations---I just don't always understand them.  You need to understand, I've become a member of  the OCCULT ( Old Cowboys Can't Understand Language Transitions) but please don't tell anyone that!!  They might get the wrong idea!!!

Someone make a glossary of abbreviations---Please!!!  I'm afraid I could really get in trouble without one!!!

I think the best thing to do is what AJ did. When something comes up ask what it means.

Don't be a WASP (Worry And Stress Prone) moderator.   Everything I said was with my tongue firmly planted in my cheek.  In other words, I was just kidding around.
You guys do a great job as moderators and you don't need to worry--I'm not shy--if I can't figure out an abbreviation I'll certainly ask!!    You just have a few people(like Iowegians) who post on here that are WARPED (Wonderful And Resourceful People Eschewing Dialogue) that you take too seriously sometimes!!  

What's the most creative abbreviation, you've ever heard??    Keep it G rated!!
