as horses became to expensive to own due to the slaughter ban, show jumpers had to find other animals to practice their craft.  sadly, today, even cattle are in danger of being classified as pets and will cease to be slaughtered.

this guy has experience jumping.  notice his relaxed heels, grip with all of his leg, relaxed upper torso in time with cow, nice hand position, letting the cow come up to him.  nice.
