Adding rib on show day

What is the best way to add rib to a show heifer on show day?

They have to be used to getting plum full every feeding at home.  It just doesn't happen on show day.  If they fill good every feeding at home, after they get used to life on the road, they will fill for the show also. Sometimes a little variety in feed on show day, AFTER they have been offered their normal ration will get a little more in them.

There are no "miracles in a bag" if the prep has not been done at home.

Yes either of them will help expand the gut. You may also want to feed a little beet pulp @ home for a period of time.

if you are looking for high fill i would suggest, as the others have said already, to make sure they are stretched at home by getting them full there then feeding a winning fill or full tank or other expanding product on show day.

We used Full Tank this year at our county fair. I think it really help and they like to eat it. We fed it to feeder calves straight and the still ate it!

She doesn't need more depth she just needs more barrel/shape to her rib cage. When u stand behind she lacks expansion on her rib cage. Will full tank still help out?

we had a hiefer with the same problem she needed more rib expansion, so we got some depth charge from purina and we started it a couple days before the show and on show day but it definatly made her full and gave her that rib she needed one of the best "fill" supplements ive used
