I can't tell you a thing about Cookie Monster, but we have used Aftershovk on commercial angus cows. He really seems to pretty up the plainer ones.He does seem to get better heifers than steers. We will get our first calves from the Aftershock daughters this spring, so will have a better idea then about what kind of cows they make. I am told that the Mailman in his pedigree can get you some disposition problems, and we did have one steer that was a little flighty, but the hfrs seem ok. Hope this helps.

We have a cow sired by Cookie Monster. Have had several offers to buy her. She isn't for sale.
She is massive, thick, easy keeper, and has nice calves. Eye appeal too. What more could you want? Her Mother was commercial Sim.

We have a 3 year old Aftershock cow. She has a clean long neck, long bodied and sound as a cat. Shes an easy keeper as well. Have yet to see a calf out of her but she is a good looking female.

We have a Cookie Monster that was way too steery looking as a show heifer, so we just turned her out.  She is very moderate and thick.  However, as a cow, she has raised some of our best calves over the last couple years.  She has had a Manchild steer, Hannibal heifer, and this year a Leroy Brown steer.
