Ag careers

Looking to maybe make a change I am currently in sales mostly to dairies which is getting a bit frustrating to say the least. I am looking at going into ag appraisal or maybe ag or crop insurance. Would like something that offers some flexibility and good earning potential. Some Pros/ Cons of both would be appreciated. TIA

I know a guy that does appraisals and mostly does ag work.  He said just recently it has become a lot tougher to become an appraiser.  He did not elaborate into details, so this probably not much help.
