I tried twice this week and got no answer which I thought was unusual, as I have been having excellent luck in getting them if I phoned between 9 am and noon. I did not leave a message as I just needed some information. I faxed some information to them and requested that they phone me if there was any problems with what I sent in. I am " assuming" it must be OK as I have not heard from them. As for cashing your check, it can be anytime between 2 weeks to over 6 months, from my experience. I had a check for about $700, that did not get to my bank until it was stale dated, last year, as it was over 6 months from when I had sent it in with the samples. Fortunately, my bank phoned me and I was able to get them to honor it anyways, as I did not want to have to send another check and wait again. Since that it has been somewhat better, but some checks have still taken 3 months to go through my account.
Overall, I have to say, that my experience with them has been much better than it was earlier, with one exception. That was I sold a bull, and the buyer wanted to have a PHA test done before he turned the bull out to breed cows. I had not tested him, as I knew he was PHA free by parentage. Since the buyer is always right, I did not argue with this request. AgriGenomics had a sample in the lab, as I had done a TH test on him. It took over 2 months to get the PHA test done, and that was after a minimum of two phone calls a week for 4 weeks. The bull buyer finally turned the bull out before the test results were done and I guaranteed that he would be clean.
