AI and ET Techs

Cowboy, am I not right? Is it not illegal at this time, right now, for a non-vet to do ET work in Neb? I would hate to see someone do all the schooling to do something just to find out it was illegal and start getting nasty threatening letters from the state.

You might be right, but your constant posts on legal/illegal come across as the crazy old woman everybody on here tuned out a long time ago.  I think you missed your calling as an overbearing highway patrol officer or prison guard.  Just think of all those 2 mph speeding tickets you could write!

There are lots of places its not illegal to do ET work without a vet license.  You might could have pointed that out if you were going to point out the other side of it since your response was all in the name of education.

Your right Chambero, some states do allow it. I just know of one, and that is up in the air at the time.... the question was directed as NE, which I DO know of.
So please list those state that is it 100% legal to do ET work in without being a vet. Anyone?

There may very well be a possibility for this to happen some time -- as I get older, the parts of the body needed to work extremely WELL and trying to go on strike and not work AT ALL -- that is not a good scenario! hehehe

My luck would be I'd have to go buy a state sponsored license and get tutored on how to give advice -- wouldn't surprise me a bit. Teachers Union -- and many other governmental bomb throwers!

If you folks get enough interest, I wouldn't be at all against putting on a small clinic -- but I sure don't hae the cows for every one to practise on -- that is always the real down side of any A-I or ET school -- live victoms!

lol id be MORE than happy to stop buy and learn   just allow me to get through state FFA this week and mass AI of the replacement heifers and i'll be golden! lol I'm a person who loves learning, so i'm kind of pumped to stop by! <party>
