What is the required rate of gain for market steers?

I was looking on the aksarben web page and couldn't find anything. I only saw that:MINIMUM WEIGHT FOR MARKET STEERS IS 900 POUNDS AND FOR MARKET HEIFERS, MINIMUM WEIGHT IS 850 POUNDS.

Don't they use your county fair beginning weights?

Safe daily gain should be 2.5 to 3.5 lbs per day on the avg. Of course the weather will play a huge role in daily weight gains. Good luck.
