Is there a book or publication on or about the "altithermal"? With all the talk about about global warming...I mean global change or whatever...what is the evidence of the altithermal by scientist or bible people. I assume not much of a soil layer was left..like a dark soil layer of wet climates.

There was supposedly a terrible hot period in North America roughly between 8,000-4,000 bp(not bc). Geological and anthropological record indicates that this was awfully hard on humans and animals. I can't find much on this generalized subject. Seems like to me the global warming goofballs would be studying this deal a litttle or maybe they are ignoring this data also.

They seem to ignore any evidence that doesn't seem to fit their stance.  My personal opinion it's because there is no money to be made off a naturally occurring cycle, but there's big bucks in the global warming theory.

government's job is to strip mine taxpayers as slow as necessary to keep increasing revenue as they can't grow otherwise.

the largest growth sector right now is government jobs.

in CA, they were going to have fines if you didn't have your tires checked when you took it in.  somehow at the last minute that part was pulled, but they still passed something so it was encouraged.  the guy who provided all the summary reports for the CA air resource board had a phony PH.D. from a site in Israel that you paid for your degree.  amazing that they wouldn't check and yes, brings into question any findings they have as all data used for further smog reduction is based on corollated evidence that people are dying from particulates in the air.  i've reviewed the 3 papers for that conclusion, and i've gotta say, it is a little disturbing.  oh well.  voters don't seem to care as long as they can vote themselves other people's money.

does anyone know anyone that has died from diesel particulates and if so, how many days was their life shortened?

I know that in my general area almost no human artifacts are found from the 8,ooo to 4,000 bp. Could one assume mankind basically went 250 miles west to the mountains where there was snow and water. Or 300 miles east to the big river. Or south 200 miles to the Arkansas river. Seems kind of funny that Al Gores 7 year drought gets talked about when no one talks about a 4000 year long drought.
