DID YOU KNOW?
As you walk up the steps to the
building which houses the U.S Supreme Court
you can see near the top of the building a row
of the world's law givers and each one is
facing one in the middle who is facing forward
with a full frontal view .... it is Moses and he
is holding the Ten Commandments!

. DID YOU KNOW?

As you enter the Supreme Court courtroom, the
Two huge oak doors have the Ten Commandments
Engraved on each lower portion of each door.

DID YOU KNOW?

As you sit inside the courtroom, you can see
The wall, right above where the Supreme Court
judges sit, a display of the Ten Commandments!

DID YOU KNOW?

There are Bible verses etched in stone all
over the Federal Buildings and Monuments in
Washington , D.C.

DID YOU KNOW?

James Madison, the fourth president, known as
'The Father of Our Constitution' made the
following statement:

' We have staked the whole of all our political
institutions upon the capacity of mankind for
self-government, upon the capacity of each and
all of us to govern ourselves, to control
ourselves, to sustain ourselves according to
the Ten Commandments of God.'

DID YOU KNOW?

Patrick Henry, that patriot and Founding
Father of our country said:

'It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too
often that this great nation was founded not
by religionists but by Christians, not on
religions but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ'.

DID YOU KNOW?

Every session of Congress begins with a prayer
by a paid preacher, whose salary has been paid
by the taxpayer since 1777.

DID YOU KNOW?

Fifty-two of the 55 founders of the
Constitution were members of the established
orthodox churches in the colonies.

DID YOU KNOW?

Thomas Jefferson worried that the Courts would
overstep their authority and instead of
interpreting the law would begin making law
an oligarchy

the rule of few over many.

DID YOU KNOW?

The very first Supreme Court Justice, John
Jay, said:

'Americans should select and prefer Christians
as their rulers.'

How then, have we gotten to the point that
everything we have done for 220 years in this
country is now suddenly wrong and
unconstitutional?

Lets put it around the world and let the world
see and remember what this great country was
built on.

I was asked to send this on if I agreed or
delete if I didn't. Now it is your turn...
It is said that 86% of Americans believe in God.
Therefore, it is very hard to understand
why there is such a mess about having the Ten
Commandments on display or 'In God We Trust'
on our money and having God in the Pledge of
Allegiance. Why don't we just tell the other
14% to Sit Down and SHUT UP!!!

United States Map---Short but good!

A father wanted to read a magazine but was being bothered by his
little girl, Shelby. She wanted to know what the United States
looked like. Finally, he tore a sheet out of his new magazine on
which was printed the map of the country. Tearing it into small
pieces, he gave it to Shelby and said, 'Go into the other room
and see if you can put this together. This will show you our
whole country today.' After a few minutes, Shelby returned and
handed him the map, correctly fitted and taped together. The
father was surprised and asked how she had finished so quickly.
'Oh,' she said, 'on the other side of the paper is a picture of
Jesus. When I got all of Jesus back where He belonged, then our
country just came together.'

This one is worthy of forwarding.
~ AMEN~

the code word for the attack on trenton after george washington crossed the delaware was "victory or death".

america got lazy, and they are going to have to take back their liberty again, either by force or the vote.  it will probably be force, as the real reason we have lost our way is lack of education and our inability to comprehend that discrimination, is not always a bad word.  we discriminated against king george.  monogomy is discrimination.  this will be the next abnomatility to fall and not be normal anymore.  it's pretty close as it is, but with institonal polygamy and other non-monogomous matings of all types coming, including with animals (using the logic of the progressive left, there is no limit to freedom), the golden calf will too.  the challenge, as it's always been, will be restraint.

I started not to do this, but as I read it....
I understood God to say, 'You need a miracle tomorrow.... So here goes...

You never know when God is going to bless you!!
Good things happen when you least expect them to!!!

Dear Lord,

I thank You for this day,
I thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning.
I'm blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God.
You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me.
Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you.

I ask now for Your forgiveness.
Please keep me safe from all danger and harm.
Help me to start this Day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude.
Let me make the best of each and every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from You.
Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things.
Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over.
And give the best response when I'm pushed beyond my limits.

I know that when I can't pray, You listen to my heart.
Continue to use me to do Your will.
Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others. Keep me strong that I may help the weak...
Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others.
I pray for those that are lost and can't find their way.
I pray for those that are misjudged and misunderstood.
I pray for those who don't know You intimately.
.
I pray for those that don't believe.

But I thank you that I believe that God changes people and God changes things.
I pray for all my sisters and brothers.
I pray for each and every family member in their households.
I pray for peace, love, and joy in their homes.
I pray that they are out of debt and all their needs are met.
I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than God.
Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight.
I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees it.

God Bless You!!!!!

God, I love you and I need you.
Come into my heart, please.
Amen.

I thank my God every time I remember you.

Knabe:  It has nothing to do with this subject, but have you ever seen the movie Idiocracy?  For some reason I think you'd enjoy it!  Awfully stupid, but hits way too close to home so to speak.

I think the main reason folks risked the big boat ride was good old fashioned English, Spanish, or French greed - or at least those that financed the boat trips.  The persecuted Christian denominations were the only ones desperate enough to come though!

I was shocked at my son's kindergarten graduation last week when the superintendent started us off with a good old fashioned, no holds barred prayer that the five year old kids recited with him.  I was floored, I didn't know they could get by with that anymore.  Of course that's one of the reasons why I live in a little old small town where the folks that might object are few and have the good sense to keep their mouth shut!  We don't do it at football games anymore, but we can still get away with it in some settings.

That's right! I love small towns too.  And I think that anyone with that would object to our constitutional rights should be tarred and feathered.  Better yet, lets just stone them!  After all, to be American is to be Christian! Of course we can pretend that we tolerate those other lowly religions but those people should know when to shut up. They aren't REALLY good americans after all.  Let's just put them on a boat and ship them to Irac or better yet, let's build a fence around them and keep them "rounded up" and under control, those deviants and all.  Ugh!

I think I'd chicken out at the stoning part.  Something about qualifications for that job described in the bible.

I don't even think we really ought to be praying during the day at school - that's not what kids are there for.  But it kills my soul that we can't pray at a football game for something bad not to happen - I don't see why that should bother anyone.  That is the issue that kind of riled me up.  If someone is an atheist, I don't see why they couldn't  just politely consider it a waste of time.  Someone from another religon all together, well - I wouldn't be mad if I went to the middle east, China, or anywhere else if someone prayed in the dominant religion of those countries at a public event (I bet they wouldn't care what I thought anyway).  I'd just mind my own business and use that time to pray how I wanted to.

We go a little too far to protect the feelings of what is still a very small minority in this country.  I work on a daily basis with all kinds of folks from every background imaginable - including treehuggers!

Today we would find the specific religous principles of our founding fathers somewhat peculiar.  Religion does change over time.

All of this from a Catholic married to a Baptist!  Imagine the discussions in my household!

purchased it.  i've lost track of it as i try to pass it around. thought it was pretty decent, but kind of tailed off there at the end.

the other reason people came was for financial reasons, which were extremely restricted back then.  in fact, one slave purchased his freedom, and sued and won in court to have slaves.  the first court case to validate ownership of slaves was by a black slave.

voter ID and requirements to give up allegiance to your former country are not enforced.

to me, our problems can be summed up in the following.

restrict domestic supply, sue overseas suppliers for restricting supply.

same applies with water, but with the caveat of increasing users subsidized by the users themselves with no power to limit users or withdraw taxpayer dollars which fosters user number increase.

to me, this means only one thing.  loss of sovereignty, loss of religion, loss of morality, loss of family,  the ultimate goal of progressives.  just ask them.  they won't lie.  some of it may be disguised, but they won't lie.
