Had a decent Royal, wish we'd seen more of you there!  My daughter had the Reserve Maine fancy heifer.  She also took cowpower 826U which had the class from hell, and placed fourth.  The red heifer is a Gigolo Joe and I would like to thank Nelson cattle company for purchasing her!  If you like the big heifer, her dam is going up for sale at Nelson's sale...she is out of there donor Promises Promises.  That cow is flat out good everyone!

Never seemed to get away form the Charolais area.  Enjoy the Royal.  Hated having to run the gauntlet of steer fitters right at the end of the ramp on show day.  White cattle and black painted steers DO NOT GO TOGETHER..  There has to be a better way.

The steer jocks were way out of control.  We got done with the fancy heifer sale and they were starting to tear down our stuff.  Needless to say, I drug my feet just because of it

I am glad someone else besides the Charolais people think that the steer jocks were out of control.  They acted like they were the only people of importance at the Royal.(generalized)  I actually had to yell at a kid that was backing his highly painted steer out of the chutes parked right by the ramp right into the side of one of our charolais heifers.  Wouldn't she have looked nice in the ring with a great big black area on her show side.  Also the 20 to 30 spectators that were standing behind the grooming chutes were a joy to lead through to get to the show ring.
