All of the cows that tags end in L or M were bought by a friend of ours when he bought a 500 head herd that had lost a pasture lease. He took the top 25 out and gave us our pick of the next 25. These were some of the 25.
They have not all raised show winners because frankly we just started to show for ourselves when our daughter got in 4H and I can say that she hasn’t shown anything we haven’t raised and she has done well regardless of where we have shown. Truthfully we weren’t ready to get rid of any of the cattle and were building the herd, therefore retaining every female that we had and only culling cattle that weren’t of the phenotype that we desired, wouldn’t breed back quick enough or had bad attitudes. These cattle are all sound, functional cattle that deliver the goods every time. Other than Hannibal being used a couple of times we haven’t used clubby bulls on them because we were looking to raise replacement females. That being said, some of these cows I have no doubt at all could home run bred to clubby bulls.
The prices listed are if you come in and pick or choose only a couple. If you buy more, price goes down. We are negotiable regardless!
