I have an Angus heifer sired by CC&7 out of a GAR Retail Product cow that I will be A.I.ing soon.  She will probably be consigned to a sale in the spring, so I wanted to get some opinions on which bull to breed her to.  I guess which mating you would think would be more marketable.  Calving ease sires that I am considering are Kesslers Frontman, Conneally Confidence or BC Classic.  She is a larger framed heifer so I really don't need to add frame.

Lots of Classic pregnancys on last years bred sales.    The Frontman calves I have seen have been very nice.  I think it depends ont he heifer, and your buyers.

I would look at Connealy Consensus 7229. Some great calves with real eye appeal and they are selling well. http://www.universalsemensales.com/breeds/angus/connealy-consensus-7229

I have a couple of Consensus heifers that were born this Spring.  Both are very nice, eye-appealing calves.  I may consign one to the same sale as this heifer.  I don't have any Consensus in the tank or I might consider him.  But, after checking the heifers tonight,  it looks like I may be breeding her tomorrow!
