We have a 2 bulls we think are very special and will work for both steers and heifers. Heavily muscled, great fronted, good traveling bulls with more size (frame mid 6) than some of the "clubby" bulls. They will also work for your bull and replacement females, as they have so much more "grow" thanbulls like Legend.
CHRISTIANS COACH 5040 is out of Robert Lastovica's Intrigue bull (T.C. Stockman 365 son) and a big soggy Black Label (Scotchcap grandson) show heifer his kids showed very successfully a long time back. The Intrigue bull also produced the grand Champion heifer, shown by Mollie Lastovica, at the 2005 Ft. Worth show.
"COACH" 's first calf crop produced the Lightweight Class Champion @ Ft. Worth this year ('09). A full blood, registered Angus steer. The first heifer shown out of him won her class at the Belt Buckle in Waco this month and will win a bunch more before she is through. We have sold 13 heifers and 11 steers out of his second calf crop that will be shown in the coming show seasons. They will WIN!
COACH's calves are 75-90 lbs and come easy. His calves have as much thickness, bone, muscle, and depth as any Angus we have seen. Unbelievably stout, but travel great on sound feet and legs, and are very clean fronted.
Semen will be available in Nov. of '09.
Robert and I are partners on the other great bull, LAF TRADEMARK. He is out of the '05 Show Bull Of the Year Lagrande Forum, and Mollie's '05 Ft. Worth Champion (Intrigue daughter). His full sister, shown my Mollie this past year, was Reserve Champion @ Waco, Dallas State Fair, Reserve Division @ Ft. Worth, and Reserve Grand Champion @ San Antonio.
This is the best fronted and certainly one of the best traveling Angus bulls we have ever seen, with CHAMPION all over his pedigree.
Semen is available now. Call 254-688-0840 and come see us!
