looks like a decent clip job. Can tell you had hooves trimmed recently.
Nice calf overall but maybe a little more butt.
BTW- love the Corgi!!!

Nice depth in the rib and stifle. But is a little on the feminine  looking side. Then again I don't know how the baldridge bull finish out. In my neck of the woods he would need to be longer bodied but a fleshy soggy mass on a moderate frame can win anywhere. Just give him the groceries and he will do fine.

Hooves on this calf have actually never been trimmed lol. Thank you for the complements red and SD, greatly appreciated!  We find out the 14th just how much he REALLY weighs, hoping around the 8-900 mark for a late july fair.  Others feel free to post your $0.02 worth as well lol, love hearing your opinions!

P.S. Corgi's name is the cat eating, chicken chasing corgi named Cami  :D lol, shes a bit of a brat at times, but we still love her lol

Just out of curiosity, where do you live at? That country looks familiar. Nice steer, BTW!! I agree with SD. Put him on as much feed as he can hold and he oughta turn out real nice.

Looks like a good calf. Good luck with him. They go through so many changes between now and then, but looks to have all the essential parts right now. Would like to see a little more muscle definition.

We have a cat-killing, chicken-eating Corgi too!! She's a great mouser and rat killer as well!!

SW Nebraska MYT lol.  Cold and dry as it is lol, still gotta love the area.  And ty all for the comments, they're greatly appreciated.  I did clip on him some more today, worked his top over a little more, so when its light out, i will try and get some more, possibly better pics.  Again, thank you so much, and to the others; i'd like to hear from ya too (thumbsup)

Aw, OK, no wonder! I've been through that area a few time before. We've driven through there coming up from Kansas and then gone through on the I in the NE corner of CO. All those hills kinda look alike.  ;) BTW, I live down on the eastern plains of CO where it has been surprisingly warm but bone dry. My family also raises Angus and Angus X cattle. In fact, all my show steers this year are 100% Angus. :D I'm trying to convince my family that I need to raise show cattle, but I'm having a hard time selling that. Oh well, we'll see. Since today was warm, I washed my first steer of the season and clipped on him. I only got the head, neck, brisket, forearm and shoulders done and will try and finish him out tomorrow. Anyway, good luck with that steer. I'd say when you're done clipping and he's fat, he'll be a real nice one.

MYT, you and me both! I'm in the process of trying to talk my grandpa and mom into letting me breed 20 or so of the cows club  ;).  But anyways, here are two more pic's of him from earlier today.

VERY good!  (clapping) He looks twice as good with that little bit of clipping you done on him. I started on steer #2 of 4 today. Boy, the first time those suckers get clipped, they can sure be a pain! Finished out steer #1 today also. BTW, I reckon I should say my name is Cade. I got addicted to showing through 4-H and now I just can't quit.  :D Welp, I better get to sleep so's I can finish out another steers tomorrow.

Guys, i greatly appreciate all the comments iv had on him, I'm kinda proud of the little home raised thing (clapping). Had a young man i go to school with come out last night and we continued to clip on him, and OH BOY! I'm getting super excited to show him lol... too bad he had a case of lice and lost some hair on that tail head :(.  But I, again, plan on taking some more pic's here soon.. just like to put them up and see how he grows, it kinda amazes me lol.  But, as always, feel free to post your thoughts  ;)
Thanks
