Will hopefully get him cleaned up and clipped this week and post the "after" pics.  He is all natural currently.

He sure is a shaggy beast. Have you ever crossed your Galloways with some real thick Shorthorns? I think it would be pretty cool, but I don't think I've seen it done.

I have not crossed them with any myself, but have seen a few.  Hairy Blue roans, or solid blacks.  Works very well.  I saw a red one in Denver out of shorthorn bull and a red Galloway cow.

Thanks, the hair is fun to work with, and a lot less effort to get it.  O0

I'va always wonder with a calf with this much hair could you just stand it all up and clip him to make him look lik e aperfectly quare brick litterally a square

If you want to see if you can, we will be showing him this fall at the NILE.  I am always willing to let others clip for me.  Gives me more time to socialize and sell breeding stock.  <beer>
