I just got through checking also.  I know that the Martin girls had two steers in the top 5.  DJ Martin had 3rd overall Steer.  I do not know any Heifer results.

Is this heifers or steers?  I had heard Gibson had won the steer deal

Was the Griffith Gelbvieh heifer the smokey bred? She's been wiping out almost every Gelbvieh show in the country.

Yeah Gibson won the steer show. Wasn't there to see it but talked to him the next mornin about some feeder cattle and heard the news.  I've talked to several people and no one seems to know who had the reserve steer.  3rd overall was DJ Martin's steer and the Martin girls had 4th and 5th, not sure which was which. Lot of good cattle there just like always.

I heard the reserve steer was someone that the guy that runs Little York was helping, so that would be someone Gibson would know too I am sure

We did ok with our steers, and won our class with a heifer.  All three girls made it to semi-finals in showmanship...a big deal for our 8 yr. old first time showing, other two were a little disappointed because they made it too the finals last year.  Told them to work a little harder--;0)  Pictures from the show ring turned out nice on Linde's photo's.
