I was unaware K-kim was having a sale this spring. I used to always get their sale catalogs and have bought a herd bull there, but I haven't received a catalog for the past 3 sales.

Anyone know anything about the two herd bulls K-KIM CRF AMAZON 7U ET and K-KIM ALLURE 124M ET?
They look to have light birth weights and good numbers.

my neighbor who is a hard core K-Kim supporter (Bill Hunter), was telling me about the Allure bull a couple months ago, when I stopped in to see his fall calves.  I don't remember much about what he was telling me, as I was in awe at the sight of his about 7 year old white K-Kim seneir herd sire. 

I think maybe Bill had a son of Allure that he was using for the second year.. I think that's it.. I'm not sure...

I know the Hunter program is really focusing on cattle that can live, reproduce, and have spread from B-Y.  Low BW is really stressed, especially at his stage in life...

I was at Kevins last fall about a week after he had weaned his spring Born's.  The Amazon calves stuck out.  They were all super sound and really big bodied.  Just looked like they would make great cows.  Now they were not as choke fronted as some but I thought they were by fair the best group.  I was even more interested in them after I seen the Marquis bred cattle at Studers. How did the sale go.  I probably should have went.
