Hair is not necessarily a good thing down under. I lost a sale of a bull to an Australian breeder because he was not slick haired. In regards to this calf, I think he has very good potential. He is well balanced and appears to have pretty good muscling. Nice calf!

I am not trying to speak for aussie. We chat every now and then. I would say yes, that is a purbred angus and yes he is still a bull. Oh and yes he looks like that on a forage diet. How bout that! Cheers mate. Very nice calf! <beer>

Thanks everyone. Yes pure angus. Yes a bull still. JIT hair not as important down here as it is up north. He is an older pedigree a mixture of US and Australian genetics.
