Back from the County Fair

Well we are home for a week and then headed to the State Fair.  I have posted some pics of our chi heifer and our maine steer.  The pic of the steer is from early July.

Hey cattlejunky, how was the turn out at Veedersburg this year? We really wanted to go, but we were at Jr. Nationals when it was going on.  We loved it last year.  From the looks of your heifer, I'm betting you did pretty good.  Nice calves, good luck at state.

Thanks for all the comments:  pedigree on the Chi heifer-  Mailman on the Dam side and HAA Contender is the Sire.  She is a chimaine and could show as a maintainer also.  She is a May so she is young.  She is also TH and PHA free.  the first pic is not that great she did not want to stand still.
Steer:  is a out of a Heatseeker cow and Monsoon.  Really big boned and heavy muscled.
