Mark, that's 3967376 GB Daybreak Express, right?  I've considered sampling him.

Thats him-He"s still influencing things some:-the red Steer bull-REAL DEAL is out of a daughter, FF Redman-a 0 BW deal at Bollums in Minnesota and sire of (JMO) one of the best breds at Schrags sale -Is out of a full sister  x a Shalimar (maine x) bull, and there have been a number of clubbie calves due to his calving ease-and thickness. The 2 pics are a clubby hiefer, and performance oriented cow by him. I think He"d work well on the Wildsides out of your performance type cows-Maybe even use him on hiefers-or the Redman Bull O0

I put a photo of FF Redman in the classifieds on SP.  Mark is more familiar with his pedigree than I am.  I always appreciate the positive comments about Redman when you are discussing something "different" for shorthorn genetics.  We like him!

My mistake-FF Redman is out of a Vortec daughter of the full sister to Daybreak express-his Maine grandsires etc on the Shalimar cow are Poplar Haven Red Alert and DBEEmr99y;also has the CCC Goldrush bull-who was another real usefull deal for alot of people. The Shalimar cattle were too-really good herd of performance-good CE cattle that were thick-and ahead of thier time.Franz Farm-who bred him are probably a pretty well kept secret in Minn. They have real good cattle, and bought a bunch of females from Gordon Brockmueller. The roan cow pictured is one they sold I think-in the minn. sale-and I'd like to have a few like her.O0
