We built up our flock of Barbados Blackbelly Sheep for many years now. They are orginally from the island of Barbados and are very rare, with less than 200 in the United States. They are hair sheep, so you don't have to shear them. They are polled and parasite resistant. They are great weed eaters and good companions. Barbados Blackbelly Sheep are now for their excellent tender and mild meat quality, their ease of care and their prolific all season breeding and lambing.
Our registered foundation stock came from Illinois, Missouri and Texas. We have strived to produce quiet, quality sheep. Attached  is a list of specific sheep and their prices. Also attached are photos of our ewes and their lambs.

Exactly, the bloodlines are very limited.  Besides you may be thinking of American Barbados Blackbelly, they are horned and have been crossed with other breeds of sheep.
These sheep are 100% pure Barbados Blackbelly and polled.
