We just found three bald spots on our heifer where the hair has fallen out. We've had a little ringworm but these spots look nothing like ringworm. Losing our hard earned hair is not fun! Does anyone have any idea what it might be. P.S. we poured our calves when we found it.

Sounds like lice.  Good thing you poured them.  Too bad you didn't pour them 2 weeks ago.  We poured ours and a week later, the heifer's whole tailhead fell out.  Thought we were early and still missed it.

Not sure what it is but we have been using MTG on ringworm and any other spots. Works good. There is another thread on it called MTG.

Its defiitely lice, we used to have this problem every winter. Its been so long that i don't remember what we used to get rid of them. But they were a tough cookie once it got too far.
