what are some typical questions? ours is tomorrow, I've never done it. Would like to win it  O0

Our county sends out a letter with what you can be expected to know - usually goes by age division (with the younger getting the easier questions).  but the things on the letter for this year are parts of the steer, feed identification, cuts of meat, breed identification, how to tie a steer up, judging terms.......hope this helps

Ours was today and questions included cuts of meat Id, feed I'd, breed Id, tool id,  they had to grade live steers,  guess yeild and fat at 12th rib, and general knowledge. Good challenge to the kids! Good luck.
