Beet Pulp

Our fair is one week away. How much should we be feeding our steer. He weighs approx. 1250 -1300 lbs.

Well...I think its too late to see any dramatic changes by using beet pulp, but you can use a type of concentrated pellet on show day such as Sunglo's full tank(that's what we use on show day), but I'm sure there might be a cheaper alternative.

Anyway, I would give him some of that type of beet pulp on show day and he should expand in his guts.

Anyone know of any other type of feed similar to full tank......because I know that it is very very expensive

I have him on 4 lbs right know.
Should I increase that amout in the next week?
How much should I give him before the show?
How long before the show?

This is my first year using Beet Pulp.

Kents winning fill also works well and the cattle seem to like it better.
