wondered what everyone is using as far as charolais cross bulls this year? I've seen some good tin man calves that are really stout and good bodied.  Is he better than Alias? Any suggestions?

Ironically, the only 2 I am considering are Alias and Tinman...still intrigued by Yellow Jacket though...

Take a look @ the bull named Muddy Water. I saw him @ Hawkeye this past summer. I was impressed. He is a complete bull IMO.
Bauman's Felony bull may be worth a shot. I have not personally seen him though.

I think Alias takes the cake on this one. From what I've heard the tinmans have been pretty big at birth. I also liked Muddy Water, he looked pretty darn good.

I don't know much about White Noise ,except he look's little ,hairy an some muscle an he is a double carrier, but the one unit of semen I used did a very good job on  a moderate to bigger Charolais cow,. If I didn't need the money she would have sure stayed at home....  Does any one else have any experience with him....

personally, I liked the super stout smoky from denver last year... forget his name, know it wasn't felony, or malibu...  He had some problems, but in terms of a HUGE boned animal, I thought he fit the bill...

There is a new bull coming that I think will change the smokey game.  His name is titanium and is a red hot out of a full sister to stainless steel.  They plan on having him at Denver this year.  Gregorys raised him and think he's the best one they have ever messed with.  They will have a pic around denver.  he's owned by levi bond gregorys and deeds cattle

that is him...  I would guess he's too young to have anything on the ground yet, thus no record.. might have some coming in next couple of months though...  think he was more than just a baby at denver last year.    I don't remember anything else about him though... just his physical appearance stunned me with his stoutness... think he could sire some southern slick shear cattle easy...

I was very impressed with Captain Morgan last year, I am concerned about how he moved off of his hind left leg. He needed a touch more flex in his rear hock and to be more confident in his stride. Personaly not the biggest fan of Muddy Water. He is too forward in the angle of his shoulder and needs more flex and set to his hock.

I love the extension White Boy has but I have never seen a calf. Milkman is a good bull and Alias is too. Troubadour and yellow jacket look very interesting. I would love to see some troubadour females on some Ohlde or Duff angus females!

The Troubadors I think are going to work , got a exceptional heifer calf out of purebred Charolais cow , an also a steer out of Angus cow with some power that looks good... First two calves wereout of a couple young cows , maybe not enough power an these calves are kinda fraill.  But for the most part real good calves, havent talked to Marty to se how  look....The comment about Muddy Water wondered if just going by picture or saw him live. The Owner told me the picture did not do the bull justice in his opinion....bull is in South Dakota now  I think...
