wat is the secret for getting these switches to be severely big and hairy on the end of these show calves tails???

my heifer just had alot of hair haha but we glued hers to kinda make it look smaller and more dense so it didnt hit her legs when she walked to

We have a steer this year that was born with a very short switch and someone recently told us that they have had very good luck with this: when rinsing daily, apply human hair conditioner to the switch, let sit for 10+ minutes and then rinse.  I don't guess it will work miracles, but will improve whatever they have.  It definitely has helped our calf.  It's worth a try.
