is black bear too out of date?
thinking about possibly flushing a real nice EXT cow to him , is he too out of date and genetics not "hot" enough to market the calves?
Added: will he moderate or add a frame size ???
also if you think this combo will or wont work please let me know

I am intrigued by this bull as well, what is his semen worth?  With Choppers Dam being a Meyer X Black Bear I would say the bull isn't completely out of date.  I would like to hear others thoughts about him as well.  I have heard good things about him and have seen Daughters of a Black Bear son do very well for clubby mommas.

We've been tossing around flushing a cow to him as well.  Does anyone have any pictures of the bull?    I think he was a bull that was not overused when he was being used and maybe now there are cases where he'd work.

i've never been able to find a picture, would also like to see him too

thats by design, he is black baldy with white up past his hocks. Always thought of him as the poor man's meyer. Can sire some good ones. But can be crazy as hell and not milk.

I am positive that I have a color picture somewhere but can not find it at the moment so this will have to do.  I don't see he white on the legs but it could possibly have been painted.  Given Black Bear's pedigree I can not imagine that he would moderate frame at all but I don't know for sure.
