Grrrrrr. Throw in my two cents about black herefords. I raise "regular" herefords and Angus cows and I want to know what ever happened to the good ole scalpel. Why in the world do people want to kill the hybrid vigor of the F1 Hereford X Angus cross by trying to make them purebreds. It makes NO sense to me. If anybody can enlighten me I'd sure like to know. I just don't know why we have to register cross bred calves. In my mind, they should be steers, not breeding stock.
