Saw the names of the buyers on Wade's blog and was surprised that there weren't some "big name" breeders buy a lot or two, but that's why it was sold like it was, so everyone had a chance to get their hands on some. I was in up to $175 on 5 units because i have a cow or two I think he really would have worked on and would have flushed with, but my pockets just aren't deep enough I guessI hope you're right about a clone firesweep!

They've sold numerous high selling and champion progeny out of these genetics. I realize this was one of the first walks alones out of her, but the heat wave line has flat clicked on her. That $40,000 baldy steer in iowa did a lot of winning for example. So its not like this would be a shot in the dark, there is a history of good calves in this genetic line. Just my two cents. I understand the risks, and I think the buyers in the sale do as well.
