Having two separate blowers has worked well for us as long as I can remember.  Of course, there is only usually two of us working on the calves at one time.

I have two blowers, and I'm the only one that works with the cattle, so I bought the Y hose to connect them, I love it, well worth the extra money. Blows LOTS of air, and gets them dry fast in the winter.

If you lived closer I have a Y hose I would sell you in a heartbeat.  We bought one and have never used it because it is just to big to hold on to, I do like the blower cart and we just use the 2 blowers seperately.

The connected blowers are a hassle to use.  We use blower separately most of the year.  I will hook them together in the winter when I need to get one dry in a hurry or if I have one whose hair is difficult to break.

We've got one and love it.  It does take some getting used to though since it is more to hang onto.  If you have young kids, I would stick with the individual hoses.  We did take our double blower hose and attach a segment of an old single hose (that had a hole in it so we cut that part off) we had onto the end of it.  This made it easier to handle.  We switch it up depending on how many of us are going to a show though.  My 14 year old brother and 14 year old sister in law have been able to get a grip on it and be able to use it.  They like it because it doesn't take as long.  My 9 year old niece on the other hand LOVES to take her time blowing her heifer out just right so she uses the single hose.

i love my double blower. it is great to train the hair faster and also to remove and of the dead skin that if left on limits how well the skin can breath. kind of a pain to use at shows and such due to power issues and portability but at home it is amazing, i get baby calves dried in no time with it.

We haven't noticed much of a restriction at all.  Just don't drop the hose!  Haha  It can get kinda wild on you!

i would buy another blower and rig up a double hose but i would be chasing breakers all day so no deal  :-\ the old circ. 2 is starting to peter out on me

Sold my Cir 2 last year to a guy who wanted it to air dry his motorcycle with it - $50.00.

The air express blows a lot more air.
