Does anyone have any information on the new Ali son  Bojo?  Is he freezing semen yet?

Lautner's said he is freezing. Semen is $25/unit. I bought a couple straws from him. I don't know if any of the major distributors have semen yet.

Lautner's Sire Catalog states...TH & PHA Status Pending.  He will need to do the actual test to know the outcome.  That is what I am wanting to know, when choosing a sire to breed carrier cows.

We are likely going to flush to him just for the "fun of it", but if we had a carrier cow we wouldn't be.   I hope he comes back clean, but with Heet Seeker (and no telling what else) further back in his background, it's possible that he wont be clean.

Haven't seen him in person but will hopefully see one of his calves in February out of a Laredo x Draft Pick

I saw him in person, he was on display at Duff's cow sale last fall.  My opinion was that he was a nice bull, unbelievable hair, but I didn't get to excited and have no plans on using him.  He was young and maybe he's got better since then but I just didn't think he was a great one.

Did see him @ Hawkeye & he is good, but I thought that he was too strait off of his hind wheels & turned out a tick on his fronts. He will have a good chance of painting up some calves also. JMO. Good calf.

when you say painting up his calves, do you mean Bojo him self has some color to him. or are you saying that becuase of alias being in his blood line

Bojo is black, but Ali will throw chrome and the dam of Bojo was a cream & white spot heifer, wasn't she? If there are any paint genetics in the cows that get bred to him, I think that the calves could be painted up some. I think that the dam was a Glover donor named Buttersotch.

Sort of Buttersctch and White - real good female. I know he sold a flush when he bought her but not sure about a share - they are always trading out there so it wouldn't surprise me if he has a partner on her.
