I have two brahman heifers that I'm trying to figure out what to do with. I was thinking about trying to cross them with either a charlois or simmental after their first calf. Anyone have any bulls in mind that would work? I want to shoot for american steers calves for Texas shows. I know not many people raise americans on here, but any ideas would be appreciated. I've attached pictures so you can get an idea.

Thanks in advance,
Jordan

The charolais bull Lead On would be a good option. He also has moderate birth weight for young cows that arent fully mature.

No, calves out of a brahman cow will class in the brahman class a high percentage of the time.
